Biography
I grew up in North Florida, where I still live today in the small town of Perry, FL, with my wife and three children. I grew up hunting and fishing my whole life, and later, around 2013, I got into coyote hunting. At the time, I had no idea what I was doing; I had only seen coyote hunting on TV, and no one I knew hunted coyotes. So, I bought my first little e-call and began calling. It took quite a while before I killed my first coyote. I had called a few in but just never sealed the deal. However, I stayed persistent, educating myself as much as I could.
On my first successful stand, a friend and I called in five coyotes on a set, and only one left. That was all it took to turn me into a coyote addict. After that, I started studying everything I could about coyotes. I can remember getting on social media and asking anyone who had coyotes in their profile questions; I was thirsting for knowledge. I then came across MFK and started asking Torry questions. He was always there to help me with answers, and that's something I'll always be grateful for.
Outside of predator hunting, I love to hunt just about anything: ducks, doves, deer, and turkeys.
Fast forward to the present day, my wife and I own a predator control business in Florida (North Florida Livestock & Crop Protection), and for my day job, I work for a thermal optics company (Rix Optics).
